Our awareness for security and trust

As described in one of the previous articles, the chakra teaching does not necessarily have to be spiritual but helps us to examine our consciousness in order to be able to develop step by step. Development not in the sense of more successful or better, but rather to be as free as possible. The freer we are, the better our reactions to everything that life offers.
This in turn is both healthier for ourselves and for our fellow human

The Muladhara Chakra or Root Chakra is the first of the seven energy centers. In non-spiritual terms, it is our basic consciousness.
In relation to this chakra, our general feeling of security in life and our attitude to life is considered.

If this level of consciousness is not reached, there is often exaggerated fear that the basic needs in life cannot be met. Changes are difficult to accept because of the fear of loss of security. Along with this, a strong control requirement can be perceived.
Those who have not reached this level of consciousness often feel as if life is fixed from front to back, opportunities to choose freely are not taken advantage of. Rather, these would lead to fear anyway.

To find out if you still have work at this level, you can find out by answering these questions:

Am I open to changes in my life?

What gives me stability in life?

Do I find life dangerous and exhausting?

Do I connect with my body?

Do I feel like I don’t belong here?

Where do I feel safe?

As is known today, mind and body are in exchange with each other. So the problems associated with the Muladhara Chakra also lead to problems on the physical level. These are considered to be expressed in the form of nightmares, constipation or bladder issues, issues or pain in low back, legs or feet, bone diseases, intestinal diseases, leg and foot pain.

There are many ways to strengthen the basic level, the foundation. Or not expressed spiritually, there are many ways to work on your general trust in life.

Of course there are various physical exercises and meditations that help, but since we want to speak very simply here, I only show the simplest improvement tools:

  1. Take a walk when the sun goes down. Watch the powerful colors of the setting sun.

2. regular exercise: no matter what you do and how intense , your general body feeling should improve

3. Massage your feet with oil before you go to sleep

4. Try to take a cold shower in the morning / let cold water run over your feet

5. Answer the above asked questions and try to explain your answers to yourself

6. Eat root vegetables, protein rich foods, Spices like paprika, pepper, and chives

In summary, you strive for a general feeling of security and stability in order to reduce restlessness and nervousness and thus to create a basis of trust in life.
